I’m Zoe, but I go by “SewyZoe” around here. I create the unique bags and accessories at LoveItSew.
I suffer from disabling chronic illness that shapes nearly every aspect of my life. It’s taken a lot from me, but it’s also taught me some important lessons, such as focusing on what truly matters – the “little things”. One of those “little things” that gives me purpose is bringing joy to others.
One way I do that is by crafting high-quality, functional products, and by creating care packages to help remind people that they’re not alone, even in their toughest times.
Insights I’ve gained from fighting my failing health fuel my desire to support others during their toughest times. That’s why any profits go towards funding care packages. It’s yet another way LoveItSew spreads joy. So, when you make a purchase, you’re spreading joy twice over!
So, why sewing?
Why sewing? Because the puns can’t be beat!
But seriously – knowing that my bags are being used and loved brings me such joy and fulfillment.
In addition, sewing strikes a good balance between creativity and precision. It gives me an opportunity to leverage my perfectionism as a skill, letting me channel my drive to get things just right to create something of value.
